Bike Anywhere Day 2024
May is National Bike Month. SANDAG is dedicated to providing options for how people travel around the San Diego region, including biking, walking, riding transit, and sharing the ride. Throughout May, SANDAG will be hosting bike activities to celebrate Bike Month, including the return of Bike Anywhere Day on Thursday, May 16!
Bike Anywhere Day (formerly Bike to Work Day) is an opportunity for everyone in the San Diego region to ride to work, school, the beach, or . . . anywhere. Whether you are a student, family, commuter, bike enthusiast, or someone who is new to biking, pledge to GO by BIKE anywhere. Join thousands in riding across the San Diego region. Bike Anywhere Day is a free event open to everyone.
Bike Anywhere Day is a free event open to everyone. Here’s how to participate:
- Sign up to participate in the event.
- Everyone who signs up will be automatically entered for the chance to win one of three e-bikes, courtesy of Velotric. View sweepstakes rules.
- Plan your route by using our bike map and pit stop map (coming soon).
- Bike to one of our 100 pit stops between 7 and 10 a.m. to pick up a free t-shirt.
